AUTOTREK MOBILE BAND SAW
British Designed and built. Wide Bandsaw technology with 101 mm (4") wide blades with optional satellite tips (remains sharper in abrasive timbers) to allow all timbers (including Greenheart) to be cut accurately and efficiently up to 980 mm wide. Narrow blades are less suitable for sawing large diameter hardwoods and cannot be stellite tipped.

	Log turning on all timber sizes up to 1.4m diameter. Designed for towing behind Land Rovers or any 4x4 suitable for towing 2400kg Six point jacking including two hydraulic log lift stabilizers. 	Variable sawhead travel speed controlled by operator. Direct Hydrostatic drive to head. Rapid stopping of blade due to dynamic braking on shut down. Cast Aluminum Pulley Wheels with stainless rim crowning.

Heavy duty twin axles for stability. Interchangeable Land Rover wheels and tyres. Greater ground clearance. All wheels braked. Fully road legal trailer.

	67 hp turbo diesel power pack. Multi-piston pump closed loop hydraulics with secondary gear pump system. Power on command. Swan necked mounted engine, greater ground clearance.

Direct Hydraulic Drive

It is the safest type of power used in any saw milling system. The bandsaw blade shuts down after each cut by the efficient of the hydrostatic braking system. lt is a well known fact that the majority of accidents happen while moving timber in the proximity of a moving blade. Besides the enormous safety benefits direct hydraulic drive has become more flexible than ever for mobile and portable equipment.The Loglogic Autotrek mobile saw milling system has proven this with some of the most demanding projects overseas. Sawing in temperatures of +40o in Africa to -20o in Russia. Compact power pack fitted as integral unit on the Loglogic Autotrek trailer, 6 or 6.5 meters away from the operator. This pack provides all the power requirements of this fully automated sawmill system. Features Lombardini 4 cylinder turbo diesel water cooled 67 hp engine for excellent power to weight ratios and lower noise and emission levels.

Autotrek Cutting Contract

Timber in the round: between 500 and 1400mm diameter.
Lengths: between 3 metre and 5.5 metre.
Operational Time: 26 hrs cutting time (1 sawyer, 2 labourers).
Final cutting List: One edge square, both square edged, boxed heart where appropriate for beams.
Nominal cutting thickness: 26mmBlade usage: 6 blades- 2 on striking metal within timber- all require servicing
Cutting fluid: 180 litres of mix-soluble oil lubricant.
Fuel Diesel: 110 litres.
Grease and other lubricants as per the operaters manual.Operational procedure: Timber was delivered to the saw by the forklift and self loaded onto the Autotrek cutting bed.Timber was not debarked , timber had been cleanly lifted from the site.
All the processed cut timber , was lifted manually from saw.
The timber was brushed, sticked and banded during this period of work.

Loglogic/Autotrek - features innovative rotary stainless steel pressure guides to deflect the blade downwards. This provides a true path for the blade between the guides and allows the sawmill to have smaller pulley's. The 16 mm deflection stiffens the tooth edge so retaining the blade tension for considerably longer. This translates to higher quantity of sawn timber combined with constant cutting accuracy with each blade.Loglogic/Autotrek- Pressure guide system provides a noticeable performance gain over other mobile sawmills and is largely maintenance free.

	Loglogic/Autotrek - offer Biosafe bandsaw emulsion which replaces the need to use diesel.Superior lubrication resulting in reduced friction, blade tention is retained far longer. Has posotive polarity providing an even film on the blade, dose not oxidise the blade preventing stain deposits on timber.Dose not rust pulleys or wash out bearings, no expansion of sawdust.
