The GT300 Rotary Rig is a specialized track-based mobile platform designed for undertaking dynamic sampling and rotary drilling on extreme slopes such as dams, railway embankments, and motorway cuttings. The working platform and drilling mast feature automated levelling in both planes to ensure safe, stable operation on steep inclines and side slopes.
Its steel tracks are fitted with single grouser pads to achieve deep ground penetration and maximum grip on steep slopes up to 45 degrees, backed by an integrated 7,500 kg (8.25 ton) winch for added security on critical sites.
The GT300 utilizes radio control for travelling, winch operation, and platform levelling overrides. Once in position, fold-down walkways and the drilling mast deploy to create a secure, level working area outfitted with heavy-duty GRP floor grating, removable handrails, kickboards, and stanchions.
